Hi

Both my dc are really into Roald dahl and i was looking at taking them to here but I wonder if it was worth it as an hour doesn't seem very long to do everything. Also wondered whether it was worth going to Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden. Can ayone tell what was involved whether their children enjoyed it. Dc are 7 and 5

thanks

We really enjoyed it - it is very small though.

I think DD1 was about 7 when we went on a lovely day out with her and DS1 when he was 6months old (left the middle ones at grandparents). It was quite quiet day there and I'm not sure how enjoyable it would be it it was busy.

We travelled from Birmingham and thought it was worth it.

What about the Roald Dahl Museum?
Not been to either the Museum or the Gallery - was wondering if either is worth the money, given the Gallery is one-hour time slots and the museum says visitors tend to stay 1h to 90mins.

Museum is lovely - at the age your kids are, probably 1.5 hrs is about right. Also, there's a great park round the corner and both are easily walkable from the station.

The museum quite often has activities on during the holidays - check their website.

Haven't been to the gallery, sorry.
