Can anyone recomend a reasonably priced Hotel in Venice?

Venice is very expensive , have you thought of staying in Lido de Jesalo and getting the ferry-bus over to venice? It would be loads cheaper , plus Lido has better night life , and a small fun park....think its called Luna park

It was a few years ago but we stayed at the Liassidi Palace hotel, which was very reasonable booked on expedia and was also very nice and central.
