Hi all, I have some tickets for adventure island in Southend and am wondering if it is worth staying overnight and doing something the next day? Does anyone know what it is like and if there is stuff for children to do? My boys are 3 and 5. Thanks

love love love SoS! I spent all my hols there as a nipper and me and my sis see it as a sort of Valhalla so I'm a bit biased

I know it's not for everyone. It's a bit lairy. But I'd bet that your dcs will love it if you stay overnight. Mine do!

Thanks, do you know where is a good place to stay? Fairly cheap!

there are thousands of B and Bs- can't recommend a specific one though as I haven't stayed overnight since about 2005! My sister swears by the Travelodge or Premier Inn- not sure which

you might be a bit limited as to what's available as it's high season. I would try and stay nearer to Westcliff than Southend- it's a bit less busy

have fun!
