Cotswold Water Park/ Keyns Country Park.

Well worth a visit on a nice day.
Water park with beach area and lifeguards on duty.
Play areas,barbeques,swans and other birds walks,cycles for hire, pedaloes etc...
Thers a cafe and a small shop and toilets too.
My toddler loved it!
Reasonable and will be going agin.
Near Cirencester.

a bit late aren't I! Sounds good. How old is your toddler because mine has just turned 2 and i'm worried he may be a bit small for this (?)

Hi ? I?ve been taking my DS there since he was about 8months old (we live about 10 min drive from Ashton Keynes) ?so I think 2 will be just fine.
DS (now 3) loves going there ? There?s loads for littlies to do and see but lets face it ? most 2 year olds just like to go in a swing or dig in the sand. ? Well mine does anyway.
Take a picnic or hire one of the many barbecues they have dotted around the site.
Hire a bike ? you can get seats or kiddy trailers for adult bikes.
The car park fees are cheaper out of school holidays - £2 out of season.

Well DC, if you?re out this way ? Lechlade-on-Thames is a good day out.
Free parking ? take a walk or boat trip down the Thames ? there?s a pub at both ends The Trout is the better of the two IMO.
Picnics and own brought barbecue?s are welcome.
Great place for flying a kite.
Loose a few hours in the Christmas shop ? yes really ? open all year round. (We normally take DS there around the end of November to chose his special bauble.)
Loads of trinket ? antique shops ? lovely deli shop ? could spend hours and loads of money in there!
Good specialist offy ? excellent for ?something different?

The Cotswold Wild Life Park is great too.

sounds excellent! I'll give it a go. He's just got a new kite.

I've been to cotswold wildlife park (twice) as well and I was really impressed. it looked like alot of funding went into it to make it really good.

Top tips for Keynes are, take jelly shoes or flip flops for the beach area as it is fine gravel and very 'ouch' on your feet. Also when paying at a kiosk to exit the car park later, they actually charge per person. Just say you came to the park on your own! (and you'll save a fortune in car park fees)
