Bananagio,advice needed!

Do you think the Roma pass offered by Best Western Spring Hotel in Rome is worth paying the extra? This involves paying about 100 euros more for free travel and a couple of passes for two people.Or is going it alone better ? I realise now that the total I paid did not include breakfast,so it might be worth amending my booking anyway,however you might with your inside knowledge feel that there is better or cheaper alternative,such as paying for our 3 breakfasts at a local cafe and paying for admission tickets as we need them,but I would value your opinion if you have a moment.

Got the answer in a very helpful reply from the Spring Hotel.They don`t do this offer any more and will help us with tours when we get there,thank you

hi Jardy, replied late to the other thread sorry.Re breakfasts I would go to local bars.The prices can vary massively depending on where you are so I would avoid (as ever with food in Rome) going next to the main tourist spots to eat. If you look on the map here you can see the road called Via A Dorea (via Andrea Doria) which is a 2 min walk from where you are. There are loads of bars down there with eating space outside and the prices are for locals rather than tourists as it is opposite the huge Trionfale market hall where we all go for our food (worth a wander round in itself-is fab). Italian breakfast tends to be a light affair anyway -croissant (cornetto) and coffee.
