Tesco clubcard deal attractions in M25 area

Kind MNs could anyone tell em what's the best value, in terms of distance entertainment and suitability for 8, 7 & 3 year old?

Visiting friends in Grays area August time so looking for things nearish (1 to 2 hours travel at most) that we could get with deals.

I could trawl through the site but then I'd still need to look for recommendations on here so thought I'd kill a couple of birds with one stone.

Non Tesco-offers information gratefully received

TIA

Is Woburn Safari Park an option? Its just over an hour from Grays. Fantastic place to visit, but v. expensive, so we only go when we have clubcard vouchers to spare.

I'll take a look Mary thanks.

Anyone else?

Whipsnade Zoo and Legoland.

Thought about Legoland, is it really good. I'll look about for reviews.

Legoland is pretty good for your kids ages; any older than 9 or 10 and it becomes a bit tame. We used to go every year.

Legoland IS good, but it also gets very very busy, especially in August! Thought it might be a bit far, too.

Don't go to Legoland in August.

Whipsnade is v. good but rather a long way from Grays

Try Diggerland, there is also the Hop Farm, Howletts, Port Lympyne and Hever Castle
