Algarve with twins any villa recommendations?

My husband and I fancy the Algarve next year and wondered if anyone has any villa recommendations? I want to book it separately as we can fly cheaply to Faro from Leeds Bradford airport. We have twins which may restrict us as we will need two cots...dont expect anyone to be able to help me on that score but any nice private villas with pools that you have been to and can recommend, please let me know!! I really dont mind which resort as long as its not full of clubbers! I like peace and quiet so a smaller place would probably suit us, and no more than about 1 to 1.5 hours from Faro would be ideal.

We went to Carvoeiro in May and it is lovely and pretty quiet. We booked with www.affinityvillas.com and they were great.

Hello harrogatemum, I've just seen this. Great thread for us, too as we have already booked our jet2.com flights to Faro for next May, but haven't booked a villa yet. Next years flights have already been released and are selling fast apparently.

Bugur - small place, not over-developed (or it wasn't a few years ago!)not too far from Faro - and anyway the road along the coast is fast and not complicated.

Google 'self-catering holiday accommodation' for the places you are interested in - or just algarve, and keep ging through links til you find one where private owners advertise their villa direct - MUCH cheaper.

hi bettythebuilder, i was interested to see that you've managed to get flights for next may already . we just came back from the eastern part of the algarve yesterday and i'm already trying to sort out next years escape!! could you tell me which airline you got your flights with please? this would be a great help.
with regard to villas , we went with simply travel who have some lovely out of the way properties , i'm not sure if you can do your own travel arrangements with them though. other companies we looked at were cvtravel, james villas, magic of portugal. i hope this helps with your search.

try www.villarenters.com We've jsut come back from a week in Torrevieja, spain, but they have villas worldwide. We had a great week, in a villa on a residential complex in a quiet suburb, just what we needed as we have twins and two older children too.
We actually put our twins on a single mattress on the floor of our bedroom in the end, they were fine.
