Any Cyprus experts out there? Can you help me with Larnaca / Ayia Napa area info

I'd be really grateful if anyone can help. We are going to Cyprus and will be staying near Protaras and at the same time some friends will be in Pervolia. We would like to try and meet up at a water park but we have no idea how far apart we will be and if there is a water park suitable for both of us. Neither of us will have cars so we will probably have to use public transport.

Can anyone give me any info? So far I think the 2 towns are about 40miles apart?!?!?! And there seems to be a waterpark in Ayia Napa but not sure how far that is for both families to travel!

Hi Sweetheart. Pervolia is on the opposite side of Larnaca (where you are probably flying in to) to Protaras so trying to meet up just using public transport may not be that easy.

The waterpark just outside Ayia Napa is good and will be much closer for you than your friends. Buses do go past the waterpark quite regularly certainly from the Protaras direction but not sure about from Larnaca.

Its about 40 to 45 miles, so you are looking at about an hours drive.

It might be worth you logging on to the Cyprus forum on Tripadvisor. There are some Cyprus residents on there who are a mine of information.
