DH and I fancy a week and easy week away with DD (who will be 20 months) in September, and were thinking of doing an all inclusive in the med/ Canaries. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've looking for nice pool(s) suitable for a toddler, on the beach, decent food, ideally apartment/ suite rather than one room so DD can go to sleep and we can still talk.

All recommendations welcome

We went to the Iberostar Alcudia Park in Mallorca last year and it checked all you boxes. We had a 1 bed apartment, food was fab, right on beach ( i.e pool, beach, beach bar, beach). My youngest DS was 18mths and had a blast. Only downside was that the entertainment at night was loud though it didn't seem to stop the kids going to sleep. They both a long (2hr+) naps in the day (oh joy) and stayed up till for the kids show at night.

We went All inclusive and dinner started at 6.30pm (5.30uk time). I had a friend who went all inclusive somewhere else and dinner wasn't until 8pm - nightmare - worth checking direct with hotel before you book.

We both agreed it was one of the best holidays we have every had and it was a real holiday for me not having to cook and clean all week. All the Iberostars along that stretch of coast get good reviews and the beach is amazing - beautiful water and it is very shallow for ages which is great for little ones.
