Can anyone please suggest self catering operators who can combine ferry/accommodation in their quotes, probably house or apartment on Normandy coast. Going round in circles looking at the separate info!

Brittany Ferries

Thanks - would add about £300 to cost of accommodation booked direct. Is a longish ferry crossing likely to be that much ? (previously only done Dover - Calais). Would any other ferry/travel companies do a combined cost ?

We booked separately this year as we found the ferry from Portsmouth to cherbourg was going to cost over £300. Booked euritunnel instead at £49 each way and we are driving to Normandy . We did book early though (before Christmas) so no idea of comparative prices for now .

Condor ferries also do all in packages I think.

How long is the drive from Calais to Normandy ? Thinking of staying between Dieppe and Caen

Technically it is about 3-4 hours - although with a 18mo and a 5 year old it does take us longer than that!
Last year we drove to Brittany from Calais and it took 9 hours there but only 6 back (planned timings with a 6mo better!!)

Got a feeling that P&O have Dover to Calais crossings for £50 at the moment. We also did Calais to Brittany this year which was about 7 hours. It was round about Caen that I thought I'd had enough really on the way. Lots of places to stop over there makes trips much easier than here.
