Me and dh are hoping to get away for our very first proper holiday without the dc's in february.
Was hoping to do Sensatori Tenerife but the reviews are terrible and I want this break to be perfect.

Can anyone recommend anywhere.
Would like:
5*
Prefer adults only
Tenerife/Gran Canaria/Lanzarote/fuerteventura
Spa

TIA

Riu Palace Meloneras and Riu Palace Masapalomas are very very nice hotels. Been there a couple of times and had a wonderful stay.

I've heard a few bad things about the Sensatori too.

Have a look at The Abama - though it's not child free.

Bahia del Duque in Tenerife.

thanks will check these out tomorrow.

Has anyone stayed at the arena del mar in tenerife?
Good deal, only critisism is that it looks like a prison, would it put you off?

we stayed here a few years ago and it was one of the best holiday's we have ever had.

Tenerife - Only the top end is the Abama, Bahaia & Anthelia. I stayed at the Anthelia and it wasnt running amoke with children because its expensive.

The breakfast was amazing - top end! very high standards. Has spa (expensive) All tenerife is expensive! Go half board too or full as eating at wasnt much of an experience.

Also I think the Ibostar Mirador doesnt allow young children, very posh, good write ups on trip advisor next door to the Bahaia.

Princes Yaiza in Lanzarote, Sir Anthony in Tenerife.
