I really fancy going to Protaras with the family - three young children. We went there years ago as a couple and I just remember a really lovely beach but lots of billboards and no real resort as such.
I think things have changed since 13 years ago! Lots of people have mentioned a nice walk to Pernera - any thoughts? And is there much for children to do?
Really appeals to me but I remember someone describing Protaras as having no charm whatsoever and no Mediterranean ambience - just a road of bars and billboards.
Wold appreciate anyone's views. We are also tempted by Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise (been there before and found them quite cute and charming) or Puerto Pollensa - never been there.
