I've just seen some bargain Air Asia fares from Stansted to Kuala Lumpur. We were thinking of going at Easter, but since we went last Easter it seems a little extravagant two years in a row! 4 tickets was just over £1500 though so only about £375 each including taxes. I was apprehensive about flying longhaul low-cost airline, but actually the service we had was really good - as long as you book your baggage and food in advance then there's not much difference IMO between them and economy in any other airline. Hope someone can benefit from these prices and have a great holiday!

We did this last year and they were absolutely fine, we paid 1500 pounds for 5 returns in August. I would rather spend the money saved on hotels than a flight

was looking at them myself but may go eva air as premium economy is around 100 each way.

looking for some deals for malaysia at the moment but everything is pricey!! 500+

£500 for malaysia seems pretty good - what time of year and which airline amani? I'm pretty hot on flight booking and usually fly to SE asia the gulf for the cheapest prices but I am always looking for bargains.

PS I'd love to know anyone's actual experiences of travelling with Eva (luggage allowance, seat pitch etc)

I flew with EVA to Thailand last year in economy when 5 months pregnant and the seats were fine. I think the luggage allowance was 20kg, sorry can't remember.

The service was good and food was okay for airplane food but on the way home, on what should have been a daytime flight, they dimmed the lights as if it was night time. I'm not the best sleeper when travelling and given it was 10am I wasn't very impressed with this.

That's my only gripe really so not too bad.
