is there anything else to do? Ds1 is 5, ds2 is 3. We will have a car so could drive somewhere.
Although the children will have their grandparents and apparently the house is packed with (other people's) toys, so i expect they would be happy to stay in all week.

We had a lovely week in the Gower recently with our two preschoolers. As well as beaches we did castles etc, one place that was popular was the Gower Heritage Centre - had a restored watermill, animals, playground etc. DS had a dove eating out of his hand.

Also if it really pours there is always Swansea. On our one rainy day we visited the Waterfront Museum (free) and went swimming at LC2, a fairly new leisure pool thing. This was pretty good as during the week it was just £2 for adults and free for small children (flumes are closed)
