Dd is really interested in history and so am I. I was not brought up in this country so my knowledge is quite limited when it comes to the history of this region.
She really likes world war 2 movies, books etc.,
We have watched The band of brothers, the pacific, saving private Ryan, Hacksaw Bridge, The great escape etc.,

Any good recommendations for films / series that we can watch this summer. I do know about world at war but would like to see that when she is slightly older, she is 14 year but quite matured so we let her see some 15 age rated films when she is with us.

The Longest Day is a good film about D Day.
The World at War is an excellent documentary covering the whole of WW2

Going back to the 11th Century, Dan Jones has an excellent podcast series called This is History,Britain's Bloodiest Dynasty about the Planaganets and there is a shorter TV series with the same name. I think it was on Prime, but I will check and come back if I find it
