Just that really. I'vebeen job hunting but also saw some interesting home study courses, but provided by organisations that are not the Open University.
Would you trust them?
They are on the job centre web page, so must be ok, or is that really niave of me?

Google them and check for reviews etc. Some courses are good and worth the dosh, but there are plenty that take the cash and give you not a lot back.

There are some home study courses that are accredited. I think it's really down to researching your options fully and the place of study. Make sure it's an accredited qualification, rather than one of their own certification. Especially if you plan to use it to progress to other qualifications or Uni.
