College 'interview'?

I've applied to start an access course this September and have been asked to go for an interview this Thursday evening. Am I right in assuming that this will be an informal thing? Will it be one-to-one or with other people interested in the course?

I'm ever so scared! I'm 30 and am worried about being the eldest there!

If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful. Thankyou.

When I went back to college, it was basically just to enrol and fill in a fit persons form. Totally informal. There was another girl in with me also.

Thanks juneybean, I was hoping that it would just be something like that

Can you ring the secretary and ask for a few more details?

Don't worry it will be an informal thing probably. Just the course tutor - s/he will want to see that you are suitable, it won't be like a job interview.

It's likely to be very informal. I had to go to an interview before starting A Levels, and the tutors tend to ask questions about how committed you are and what you intend to do in the future. I was the oldest person on my course and it wasn't a problem.
