Uni interview - Help!

I am currently attending an Access to Higher Education course and I have an interview for uni next week. I am applying to study English Lit, have been brushing up on books I have read, just wondered if there is else I should be doing? I am hoping that good preparation will allay some of the nerves!

TIA

What admissions tutors seem to look for - in addition to getting the grades - is a genuine enthusiasm for the subject. When I had my uni interview, the interviewer went out of his way to make me feel at ease. You could also have a look at the uni's website, to see if they post details of their various modules' reading lists; if there's anything you've read, it could be a good discussion point. HTH.

Thanks for replying, that is helpful. Hope my interviewer is as nice as your one sounds.

I recently had a group interview for a uni course and they asked us to talk about what our motivation for doing the course was.

Go in there and talk about what you've read (on the course and on your own)-- then see if you can tell them how the course they offer will help you build on what you already have ... but mainly, relax and enthuse!
