OU Psychology - How may hours a week

I am starting an OU Psychology degree next Feb - had registered for a course starting Oct as well but decided to postpone as I think it might be too much! The OU website seems to suggest each 60 point course is about 12-16 hours a week which might be a problem where courses overlap. How have others doing an OU course found it. Is that about right? I am used to studying at home but this is my first degree.

cant tell you exactly, but my best friend is doing an OU psychology degree, and for the last 3 years she has managed to do 120 points er year, at the same time as working 25 hours a week, having a boyfriend, and a decent social life!!

I'm in my first year of OU, just doing 60 points and it hasnt taken me as many hours per week as they reccomend!
