When to start attending open days?

That's it really. One of my children's friends went before doing GSCE - I was surprised they were allowed to book.

For an official open day - Y12/L6. For having a look at universities at other times (and their surrounding times) - Y10 onwards. We've parked at several universities on our way back from family holidays so that DSs can have a qaick look round.

Thanks. Have tried suggesting that a weekend away be booked to somewhere we can look at unis. Not sure what course we'll be looking at yet as they seem to be changing their mind (sighs). Perhaps it had better be one where they can change course easily.

Year 12 is the normal time for going to open days.

Thank you. Guess it's time to do informal looks at any city we happen to be passing but leave anything more until they have more idea what they want to do.
