Maths classes

Has anyone gone to adult education classes for maths? I was seriously crap at maths at school and am dreading helping out with the maths homework.

I have managed to get 2 degrees and am working through a 3rd so I can't be completely unteachable! I just never 'got' maths.

Hi georgiemum, I would have thought you'd be better off getting a KS1 book for maths revision, and work through that to get an idea of how maths is taught now.
