And where can I find out about my options? I've got a degree in early childhood studies and education and was a nursery nurse before that so had a diploma in pre school practice. Before I had DD I worked in nurseries, started but didn't finish a PGCE and it knocked my confidence and I now definately don't want to teach. But what else can I do? I am not working atm as am caring for DD but would like to do some very part time study so that there is something specific I can do when I do go back to work as I no longer want to work as a nursery nurse. Any ideas? Or anyone know where I can get some advice?

That sounds like my kind of job...or personal shopper for someone very rich and forgetful...DD has just woken so will have to log off now as she has woken up a bit grumpy.

With the degree that you have and your experience, I would say child centre is where you should be working...and as you have a degree, you probably could get in at a higher level....
