Anyone's children going to Dundee?
I think we get keys for accommodation on the 11th?
Dd is worried anyone in halls on campus?
She's 20 so older so very worried about 17year old students she has nothing in common with.

11th is pretty standard, Glasgow give keys then too. Also, Scottish kids start primary older and generally leave High School because of that older - it’s rare to not be 18 in the last year of school so there really won’t be many 17 year olds. Dundee is a lovely, friendly place, I’m sure she’ll quickly find her feet. She doesn’t have to tell anyone her age if she doesn’t want to, it’s not obligatory, and there’s such a mix at Uni.

One of my DDs most enduring uni friends is a guy from her halls who was in his late 20s when everyone else was 18. They went on to share a flat for their final three years along with others and she just recently attended his wedding. They seemed to have plenty in common way back then and still do now ((DD is 33 now) . 18yo aren't necessarily feckless airheads. Most are well rounded, intelligent young adults.

Lots have a gap year so are older. Lots of Scottish yp wait until 18, my dd is at Glasgow and live in halls tended to be 18 plus.
