Nutrition Course

I am thinking of doing a diet/ nutrition course - self study. This is more for my interest than career and a way of giving me something to do/learn now kids are at preschool/ going to school. My question is has anyone done a nutrition course as there are so many providers and courses to choose from, I suppose I would rather have a recommendation.

I would have done this at my local college except they don't do this course.

Thanks

hiya,

i know you said you were doing it out of interest but do you think you will want to use it as a qualification or to add on to something you might study further down the line?

theres plenty of place you can study with just out of interest for example ics,bsy etc but none will ever lead to a job.

I studied years ago with stonebridge and it was pretty easy and very interesting to be honest all about vitamins minerals food etc but now im sure it accredited by either the guild of holistic therapists or the FHT which will allow you to get insurance if you ever want to use it

Thanks.. had a look at stonebridge and there is a course that covers areas that I would like to do. I would like to do it out of interest and hope it will serve useful to my family if nothing else. I just wish my local college did it and then I could get out as well, but never mind.

Thanks again
