Have most people received all their offers yet and firmed their choices?

DS is still waiting for one of his universities to come back to him (UCL) and doesn't want to firm until he has all his offers....I was wondering if he's in the minority, as we are now into April? I've heard that sometimes UCL wait until the end of May and I really don't want him hanging around until then, especially since some of the accommodation for his other offers is already open (and probably getting snapped up by those who have already firmed). Anyone else in the same boat?

My son is still waiting for Warwick.

Some of DS' friends are waiting for Warwick too (for Economics).....I hope he gets news soon! It's pretty frustrating though as I'm pretty sure the offer days have passed for DS' subject at UCL so he's probably going to get a rejection and so I don't understand why they can't just tell him.

My DD has got all her offers back but hasn’t firmed yet. She knows that some have opened accommodation already but the ones she wants don’t do first come first served and there is no rush to pick accommodation until they close it in July. We are still on Easter holidays here and teachers have said they want students back in school to chat to them before they firm up with ucas so she probably won’t do it until next week or week after. She knows her first choice but is now thinking second choice will be Cardiff which she hasn’t even visited! Ah well.. I’m done with pushing her on it 😆

DD has heard back from all 5 unis, but waiting for a final OHD next week before finalizing firm/insurance.
Hop yours hears from UCL soon, it’s horrible when things are still uncertain for them.

@tabbycat897 DS received his final offer last week but won’t firm/insure until he’s been to the Warwick OHD at the end of the month. He’s very laid back & says he may not firm until he’s sat his first two FMaths papers. I’d prefer that he decides sooner but it’s his choice. Fortunately 2 of his offers (Durham & Manchester) are already accepting accommodation preferences & he’s submitted his choices. Birmingham only allow firm choice applications to select accommodation at this stage & I believe that Warwick are happy to wait until results day but I’m not sure about that.
Oh goodness, I do wish it was all done & dusted!

All 5 offers back here, but now overwhelmed about choosing. It’s just too much with trying to manage studying as well.
It was so much simpler with older sibling, who only had 2 offers.

DS still waiting on 1 offer before he will confirm, he doesn't think he will get in but wants to know before accepting others.

My DC has all offers back but is waiting until an offer holder day next week and will then decide.

Mine has firmed LJMU and all her friends have firmed their choices too MMU, uni of Leeds,
Cambridge, Durham, Newcastle , uni of Manchester , Cardiff, York, Bristol . I think all but one have had all their offers. They’re all over the place !

Final offer received but only as of 8pm last night.

That sounds like a nice diverse easy going friendship group.

Firmed Warwick and insured Loughborough this evening!

All offers received (Warwick, St Andrews, Durham). DS has now narrowed it down to St Andrews and Durham. He’s leaning towards St A but says it’s a difficult decision between the two so he’s holding back from firming up.

Dd waiting to hear back from Warwick for Econ. She received UCL about three weeks ago. Only has two offers. She feels very nervous atm…

Firmed Bristol and insured Sheffield just now after visiting Sheffield OHD today - accommodation can only be applied for in Bristol after firming them so that’ll be the next step this week
