Hi everyone, does anyone know of any Easter revision courses for History Alevel (AQA)? I've seen an exam focussed crash course for Econ/Maths etc, but nothing similar for history. My son wld just like a bit of additional exam technique prep.

I would also be interested in hearing if anyone has any suggestions. DC is doing lots of past papers now but they are difficult to mark independently so some short-term tutoring would potentially be helpful.

Oxford Tutors can help. They can find a tutor to work one on one over zoom, and are quite flexible.

Thanks for the replies - will look at the tutors but ideally he'd just like two or three revision sessions like those on Edgenie for Economics so they're longer than an hour each. Maybe it's just trickier with History because schools choose different topics rather than covering everything!

You can ask Oxford tutors for exactly that. You don't ever have to buy a standard package. They have freelance tutors who are either History teachers in schools / board examiners and some are current Oxford undergrads / recent grads. If you talk to them and tell them exactly what your son needs help with they can then come up with a range of tutors who are particularly good at those things, and you can choose between them. Etc.

My son has done a PMT one for Geography this week and it seemed very good. Other child did their economics one. I havent seen any History ones though - and am also looking for a Politics or Business one for next week if any recommendations.

Not really a recommendation as we haven't done it, but the EdGenie courses were the kind of thing we were looking for and they do a business one - maybe this would be worth considering
