Has anyone starting at Imperial College this month had an accommodation offer yet?

Just that really.
My daughter was expecting to be told this week but nothing yet.

Hi. They've been going out in batches amd their Instagram page says they will continue next week (see the comments). My son got his offer yesterday. Although maybe give them a call just to double check?

Thanks for that. It's reassuring.

My son heard Monday morning - it sounded like the Acton halls came out first. Hope you hear soon.

My daughter has been given the Woodward building in Acton which wasn't in her list of choices so she's slightly disappointed location wise but at least it looks like a clean modern building.

I used to work in the building that was there previously, the BBC rehearsal rooms/ wigs and costumes / BBC Drama / Ent & Kids / Music and Literary contracts.

It is not a bad location, right next to the tube station and it's a very quick journey to Shepherds Bush / Notting Hill and all those places have to offer.

Does she have a room to herself or will she have to share? That's the only thing I'd be worried about, sharing.

@OreoCookay yes she has an ensuite room to herself so that's fine and I'm sure she'll get used to the commute.

I'm sure she will - its not far and she can walk from Notting Hill down to South Ken past the parks and palaces if the weather is good.

Woodward and Kemp Porter are large halls and have an active social life. The accommodation cost is very good for London as they’re en-suite too and next to the tube stop. You do have to factor the 1-2 zone travel card on top. Students get a 30% discount. I think a lot get off at Queensway and walk through Hyde Park or cycle through.
