Edinburgh University question

Hello. My son has unexpectedly received a place at Edinburgh University for this September. Is there a way to send his belongings there by train (we are in London). I am not sure that we want to drive. Also, do they have Reading weeks/half term holiday weeks?

After driving to Edinburgh and back a few times for drop off and pick up, we switched to using Shiply to find a courier, and never looked back. As long as stuff is well boxed up it’s door to door and super cheap.
