OMG its activity 8 not 7.

Activity 7 is-display interest table/wall display.Encorouge children to explore and investigate. The children must be involved in providing items and settin up the display and your assessor needs to observe ypu discussing the display with the children
The children I look after are 15 months and 13 months!!

I don't know about the NVQ but I've just completed the BTEC so will try and help...

I did something similar in Autumn, I created an "autumn days" display for the wall, the kids and I went collecting leaves and we explored the leaves using all of our senses.

Then I prepared some template flowers and birds for them to paint.

These kids were 18 - 24 months though.

I may be being small minded but how can you discuss the display with a kiddie 13 months old... my tutor told me I use fab eye contact and facial gestures with baby babies.

So maybe if, like in my example, it was birds and flowers you could be like "Oooh! Look at the lovely birdies, can you see them?"

Hope I help!!
