Assessor?

I am about to finish my BTEC Lvl 3 in Early Years and I would love to maybe become an Assessor next...I see them advertised and they ask for A1/V1??? How do I go about getting one of these? :S

YOu can apply via the college to take just this unit, I did it a few years ago, must say I hated it, but have it just in case. You need 2 or 3 candidates who are doing NVQ 2/3 and be their assessor whilst you are being assessed. The commitment was larger than I thought it would be, assessing them in their work place, marking their work writing feedback summary scoring etc. Didn't help that the 3 I had really didn't get it. HTH
