Quick question, does anyone know if Exeter uni has a reading week, and if so any idea when. We have searched their website high and low but can't find anything. Thank you

Thanks so much. That looks like it's for the humanities department, I wonder if all departments do a similar thing. Anyone know? (Also looks like maybe not an opportunity to come home)

It will be course dependent

I'd have thought only humanities departments have reading weeks, anyway (which are not holidays, by the way: students and their families need to delete the concept of "half-term" from their minds, as it only exists at children's school).

I am constantly telling my students that reading week is not a holiday but they don’t listen. I set work for them to do that week in their group projects and I book them in to the specialist facility which they need to use. And still they use it as a holiday and then wonder why they’re so stressed two weeks later when they’re assessed.

Although i know that in modern languages and art history, they often do trips to mainland Europe as part of the curriculum during our reading week.
