Hi I’ve just got one child whos hoping to be going off to uni in sept
she won’t be getting a student loan , I’m just wondering how much everyone gives their child weekly money wise . I’m hoping that she can find a job as well

This has been posted about a lot. Are you paying for the accommodation in full? Private halls or uni?Catered? Not? You paying for things like phone and travel? London?
If accommodation paid for but self catered people seem to be giving between £50-£100/week.

Lots do the parents pay accommodation, to live off minimum loan which is £90 a week year round.
Lots of variables. Remember it’s travel costs, contact lenses/dental checkups/prescriptions, phone, possibly gym, club membership and kit, clothing not just food.
Jobs - some towns are harder to pick up work especially if teen hasn’t already had a pt job.

Why won’t she get a loan? You need £10,000. Pa for anccommodation and living expenses. Can she work and study? If she needs to work I guess you are not rich. So why not have a loan? Millions do. It’s normal. So not taking a loan is detrimental to her.
