Two courses at Cambridge?

Can my young person apply for two courses at Cambridge in the same year (ie. taking up two of the five UCAS choices)? They can’t decide between Economics and Law. Could get round the personal statement issue by supplying a supplementary one apparently (so says their school anyway).

No.

Have they looked at Land Economy?

idk about Cambridge but if they want to go into a career in law I would suggest reading economics now and then taking the conversion course in law.

You can do this at other unis but not Cambridge. Law is a little less competitive than economics at Cambridge, if that helps!

Not at Oxford or Cambridge

Go for Economics and then do a law conversion course.
Numerate lawyers can be vvvvvvv well paid.
