Changing ucas choice

I know you have 14 days after your UCAS welcome email to change a choice, but what if you add an additional course several weeks after (as not all slots filled) - can you change that within a day or two of adding it? I've googled this and it keeps saying the 14 days thing but it seems to assume you've made all your uni choices on the original submission, so I'm wondering if it's possible to change one if you've added it a lot later. I know I can call them tomorrow but just in case anyone knows!

Yes you can, DD submitted UCAS over 2 weeks ago and then she added another choice last night. She just checked and for the additional choice there is a ‘substitute this choice button’ only for the new one. Hope this helps

Thanks @PuddingtonPuddington - I'm not sure I dare tell her! I wish they weren't limited to just five, or could add another once they've been rejected by one. (Also wish they could write separate PS for each, therefore applying for different degrees, could apply with known grades....)
