Applying for two courses at one university

My DC wants to apply to two courses (very similar, same faculty etc) at the same uni. I've googled and this seems to be ok (apart from St Andrews apparently).
Have any of your DC done this successfully, please? I'm thinking DC should call the admissions dept just to check...?

I’d assume the bsc ones have some more stats based modules. 🤷‍♀️. Have a look at the modules offered and see what differences you can spot. When I did a social science degree we could opt for a bsc only if we did an SPSS stats analysis type module……if you didn’t do that module you got a BA.
