IB Maths tutor - anyone ?

Long shot but any IB parents on here who can recommend a good online maths tutor for Yr 13? Thanks alot

Can’t help specifically, OP. However if you are near a university another option might be a PhD student recommended as a strong teacher, or a Maths PGCE student with a very good UG Maths degree.

The School of Mathematics is the resource for the former and the School of Education for the latter. They will not exactly be cheap but they should have lower rates than a professional tutor; however I would also expect to pay them for prep time. They should be very quick picking up the concepts but they would need to become familiar with the IB curriculum.

I think F2F is generally a bit more effective, if it is possible

Thanks a lot Poetryandwine - experience tells us that we need someone with good IB teaching experience as it requires familiarity with a particular calculator etc. They are few and far between - I’m trying to get hold of someone in Poland atm !
