DC did three past papers during the summer.

DS did 7 or 8 past papers and looked at all the examiners reports and mark schemes. He also did a lot of Olympiad problems which he says helped for the style of questions and also for interview. He worked fairly steadily the summer before the test.

DD did a few past papers by herself. Not what you'd call mocks, not really, as there was nobody outside her room to supervise or mark them. But it gave her a good sense of her own capabilities and potential weak areas. There's no official pass mark, but she felt there was a likely interview cut-off point she was confident of exceeding.
