Huddle bill sharing - any experiences please?

Anyone had any experience with Huddle bill sharing? One of DS’s housemates has suggested it. The benefit is that it’s split liability so they can’t be held liable for other’s share. But they are not sure if it is unlimited utilities or not. It’s £23.50 per week each (not Sure if that includes water at £3.83). It’s a 4 bed terraced house by the way.

Any experiences would be welcome, thank you.

DD and her housemates used Huddle in the academic year just gone. She said they reasoned that it wasn't much more than they would be likely to be paying anyway, given that prices were going up anyway, and saved them a bit of hassle. She says they got intermittent refunds as well (of seemingly random amounts), which was always welcome.

@MarchingFrogs that’s interesting thank you. Was it unlimited utilities do you know?

i can definitely see that a little extra for less hassle would be worth it.

I don't know the specifics, I'm afraid - I'll Tey to remember to ask DD.

Interestingly, DS2 (just coming to the end of his 2nd year tenancy) says that they were 'warned off Huddle', but whether Huddle specifically, or what reason their advisor gave, he didn't say.

Also interesting, there are so many mixed reviews it’s difficult to know what to do.
