Changed her mind about Gap Year

Looking for advice on what to do.

DD didn't apply for uni through UCAS as she wanted to take a gap year. She had not studied at all the first 18 months at college, and thought taking a gap year would allow her to resit and have fun. Most of her friends started spending a lot of time studying in the last 3-4 months of college and so she ended up studying too.

Now she thinks she might pass, possibly get a BCC and wants to go to uni this year if possible. She's happy to do a foundation year too.

1. Can she apply for student finance now?
2. Can she apply through UCAS Clearing now?

She does test my patience. :-(

Start her student finance application today - it will ask for a course and uni, she can just put any she’s thinking of down and adjust later, but it needs doing asap.
Does she know what course she wants to do?

Thanks you. She wants to do any accounting or finance course. She took Maths and Economics for A levels, so she will have the subjects if she passes.

In that case get her set up on UCAS and start looking at Clearing vacancies - bearing in mind not all unis have entered clearing at this point!
