Midwifery- which uni?

Hi all- wondering if you could provide some help please!

DD made a late application for midwifery starting in September 2023, and as such she doesn't have a long time to make a decision or visit open days.

She has offers for Nottingham, UWE, Oxford Brookes and Surrey. She will be living away for all. She will be a mature student (22) but still wants to make friends, go out into the cities etc.

Does anyone have experiences of these unis/courses?

Thanks Grin

I've got no advice whatsoever but well done her for getting all of those offers!

I would look at where each university have their clinical placements as much as the university. Around half the course will be in clinical practice so thinking about how good/bad those might be would be useful. Check out CQC reports as a first start

That's really good advice.
