DD is Irish and has always lived in Ireland. She applied to some universities in the U.K. through UCAS.
Our understanding based on everything we have read and been told is that Irish students unlike other EU students qualify for home fees in the U.K. or rest of U.K. fees in Scotland.
She received an offer tonight from her favourite university but it is as an international student which is obviously way more expensive.
The offer is also very significantly lower than she expected.
Obviously we will talk to the university and appeal the fee status.
I presume if they grant her home fee status they will also increase the offer?
