Would Unis interview candidates for computerscience??

Is it only oxbridge or do other unis also require interviews??

My ds has offers for Nottingham, Birmingham and Loughborough and didn't have interviews. Still waiting on two others. Not sure about Imperial, they might.

Exeter didn't interview.

Imperial is the only other one that interviews

DS got four offers, one TBC, no interviews. Don't forget to check degree apprenticeships.

Hi. I didn't help him much with the Personal statement just suggested a few wording/grammar changes to his first draft. School helped a bit I think with guidance and suggesting improvements to it. So it was pretty much ds's effort and he did seem to cobble it together quickly over a weekend. He didnt have a huge amount of show stopping content on there really, a few MOOCs and he talked about his CS A level project. However one this I thought shined through on it was his enthusiasm for the subject, I think that came across well.
I dont know how much Unis really take them into account we went to the Exeter open day and they said they dont. Bath said they do.

Manchester, Southampton, Leeds and Newcastle don’t interview for compsci.

Imperial shortlists through an online admissions test heavily then interviews. Oxbridge and Imperial are the only ones.
