2nd year housing

My daughter is first year at a London uni - her second year house plans have fallen through. Can anyone advice how she links up with other people looking for room mates?

DS was at a London Uni a few years back, and the accommodation office had a list of landlords/properties, and also ran a few events where potential sharers could meet-up with other people looking.

The SU often hold events to try to pair up housesharers or fill odd spaces.

Searching accommodation office for the uni just gives you first year accommodation options not second year. Very frustrating.

DS1 used this when moving to Bristol as a postgrad.

Presumably she's already tried asking others on her course / fellow members of societies etc?

Re the accommodation office / SU, has she tried visiting them in person? 'Noticeboards' with actual people's details on may be something that is only accessible in person or via a student login, rather than a public search.
