LSE as an undergrad.. experineces and tips

My son is heading to LSE as an undergrad.. all new to us, he plays sport, has lived a sheltered life in rural France for the past 10 years, more sheltered than normal because of covid.

Any tips for settling in, finding a tribe and making the most of the first year without being overwhelmed?

I am glad to hear that your DC are settling. I hope Understartersorders DS is OK. DH told me that he is aware of a couple of colleagues who have been mugged when walking along the South Bank. I was there last night and found myself more aware than usual of the dark corners.

@Needmoresleep he's much better thanks, he’s thrown himself back into his studies and the various opportunities on offer.

Glad your DC are settled and enjoying LSE.My DS is in his second year.At times swamped with essays and work but still having a great time.Working and playing hard.
Has met some lovely people who are sharing place together. They all seem to help each other and so far fingers crossed still get on.
There is so much to see and do in central London..I feel they are so lucky.
