Contextual offer for dyslexia?

I have seen a very few universities offer this. Reading has it mentioned on their contextual offer criteria. Anyone know of anyone else?

Thank you!

I’d appreciate it if this didn’t become a lecture about the “exam arrangements levelling the playing field”. They don’t for all kids. They don’t make up for years and years of poor working memory, processing speed, trying to take notes and listen at the same time and just a lack of confidence in one’s abilities.

My daughter has dyslexia and didn't get any contextual offers. She applied to Exeter, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds and Southampton.

There’s a general disability box to tick but I’m not sure if admissions even get to see that section.

My DC has fairly severe SENs (EHCP) but still didn't qualify for contextual offers at many, Reading do seem to be more generous and he would have qualified there and Bournemouth but none of his others.

Some offer it if you also meet other criteria eg postcode, parents didn't go to unl etc but not many for just the SENs.

My DD 17 has had two contextual offers for dyslexia at York and Liverpool, nothing from Leeds, Manchester and UcLan. Her firm is York. She was only screened last year and then diagnosed properly this. However she did mark the disability box when applying, and got those offers before a firm diagnosis. The diagnosis was imperative for DSA.
