Final degree classification

Does anyone have any knowledge on final classifications ? I got my final result today and when I calculated I got a total of 69.7%

What are the chances of this being pushed up? I have a low grade with 40 credits pulling it down with but I do have a higher grade for 20 credits in the background.. is it possible they would split the grade from different modules?

I'd hate to miss out on a first when it's so close .. but regardless I'm bloody thrilled

Several decades ago, I got 69.5%.
My personal tutor went to the exam board to argue the case for me to get a first.
I didn't get moved up. The argument was, that although I had some very high grades in some modules, I had a couple I barley passed.

69.5 is absolutely the boundary where other grades will count. 69.7 is closer to a first so will be rounded up.
