What do I do in this situation???

If you’ve seen my aibu post I have been at the hospital all day. Ferried between hospital bed and the waiting room (can provide proof). The senior doctor thinks it’s cysts on my ovaries and has booked me a scan next week. I feel tired, sore abdomen and severe lack of appetite

what bugs me is that I’ve got my exams on next Tuesday (a level spanish, Btec travel and gcse maths) and I don’t feel in the right health to revise/ do coursework. I’m paranoid I’m gonna flop the exams and fail (I can’t this time as I’m applying to the army)

I’m really gutted. I’ve failed GCSE maths 3 times and I’ve been doing really well. Got a 5 in the mock

You need to speak with your exams office, who will explain your options. You could apply for special consideration due to ill health if you have evidence to support you.

As long as you’ve sat one exam out of the 2/3 available they can do an average over the full set. Ask about special consideration.

Providing you have medical evidence you can ask for consideration. I wouldn't not sit them though particularly if you want to apply for the army. Drag yourself in and ask the exams officer to help you.

Is it not a break in exams next week, over half term?

Then as hard as it is I would make sure you revise to the best of your abilities this week and crack on with your exams. You can still put in medical information for consideration though.

What coursework is left, can you request extensions?
