So my child recently accepted an unconditional offer for Lincoln for Sept. Circumstances have recently changed and she has changed her mind wanting a more local university! Clearing would now be her option, how and when can she withdraw from her unconditional offer!! With A levels starting next week i am trying to decrease the stress……. Its not currently working 😫😂

You apply to be released during the Clearing/Adjustment phase of the admissions cycle. That is in August, so there's lots of time.

However, it would be a good idea to start talking to the admissions people in the university and the department that your DD wants to go to now - look at the course, at the campus & so on. She needs to do it - but it really can wait until after her exams.

She can withdraw now from Lincoln but it’ll leave her with no place, she’ll then need to go through Clearing after Results Day. Has she checked her new uni has places?
