Can you do a PGCE with a C at Additional Science GCSE route 1 but a D at Science A (route 1) it's confusing!

To teach what? If secondary Science, definitely not! If Reception, of course.

I only have one Science O level and that's a grade B (yes, I'm ancient). However, it has no bearing on my ability to teach Music at all levels, something I have done for years, including reception and A level.

You don't need science GCSE at all for secondary PGCE I don't think (or you didn't) (as long as not teaching science obvs). But for primary AFAIK any C is fine. You might want to brush up on it a bit tho as there is quite a bit of science in the primary curriculum (hence needing a pass)
