A levels 2023

I hear that Scottish qualifications will continue with pandemic course modifications for 2023 qualifications.

Does anyone know whether A levels are returning to pre pandemic content and assessment in 2023?

Thanks!

I haven't, but DD has missed an awful amount of lesson time, a combination of teachers having Covid with no cover and she's had covid herself. The pupils are just expected to get on with it. Funnily their reports used to say how many days of school missed it took to reduce grade attainment, to shame parents into not taking term time holidays. The school has been swift to remove those statistics 🙄

Ah.....maybe the difference is that all Scottish qualifications are studied in only one year, whereas A levels and GCSEs are studied in two. This leaves less room for playing content catch up.

I believe they are. My y12 daughter is worried as she has no experience of sitting these do or die exams - though it did feel she had about 12 exams for every subject last year!
